7 Morning Rituals To Get Rid Of Pesky Cellulite

If you’ve tried to get rid of cellulite you know just how resilient it can be. The trick is to establish daily habits that will eventually stop it from getting worse and send it in the opposite direction. Starting your day off right is key, and these morning rituals will provide results if they become a habit. 1. Drink Lemon Water Upon Waking This simple ritual carries with it some pretty big results, and is as easy as squeezing fresh lemon juice into some hot water and sipping it as you would a cup of tea. Be sure to use organic lemons for this, as well as purified water, or distilled water. It isn’t just your cellulite that is affected by this ritual, but the way your body is able to break down the food you’ll be eating throughout the day. You’re also getting a jumpstart on rehydrating the body after a night of sleep and no water intake. How it Helps: The lemon helps the body in a number of ways, and one of these ways is getting the blood to flow to your skin, and helping to carry waste out of the body. It will also help you strengthen your immune system thanks to the Vitamin C that the lemons contain. 2. Do Some Cellulite-Busting Exercises It may be hard to establish a morning exercise routine, but once you have it set as a habit you’ll feel strange if you go a morning without it. You may have heard that you can’t spot treat when it comes to losing weight, but with cellulite it’s all about building up some muscle underneath it to help break up the cellulite in that area. The backs of the thighs is one problem area that can lead to a lot of frustration. Try lunge kicks, which will help to tighten up your hamstrings and help you work out the kinks when done in the morning. Here’s a great targeted exercise video that you can incorporate into your morning Continue reading >>

Cellulite Is Curable: Here’s 3 Ways To Do So

Cellulite Is Curable: Here’s 3 Ways To Do So

You are not a victim to your genetics. The study of Epigenetics has proven that it is possible to turn on and off genetic predispositions via envrionment control. The word Epigenetic literally means “behind genetics”. The root word epi is derived of the Greek word opi, meaning behind. In other words, epigeneitcs is the study of the causative factors that are behind the manifestation of genetic expression. This includes things like our thoughts, emotions, environment and actions – all which have an effect on the way our genes express themselves, which can be either in the direction of disease or health. 1 2 So, as with any other “disease” or “disorder”, cellulite too is the result of chronic various stressors that accelerate the aging process. This means that it can be managed, and usually handled with simple means such as leading a more natural lifestyle, eliminating toxins from your mind, social life, diet and environment. As you will learn in a moment, cellulite is in the most basic sense, a symptom of poor health. When unhealthy, the body doesn’t digestion well and therefore poorly metabolizes (weak Qi), which results in poor detoxification and the accumulation of toxins, metabolic wastes and fluids. When these toxins have no where to go because the detoxification systems are impaired, they begin to store in fat cells in various places, including the connective tissue of your skin. So, you can eliminate cellulite just like you can eliminate any other imbalance of the body – improving overall digestive and metabolic function. There is no question of that. This isn’t 1907, we can test and measure performance with science and the results are in — poor lifestyle choices, succumbing the environment and weakness of the spirit will is the true cause of Continue reading >>

Best Tips On How To Get Rid Of Cellulite In The Body

We all want to look good and by that we mean, looking impressive and attractive. One of the most significant things that can affect our personality and the way we look or even feel, is the accumulated fat or the cellulite on our body. It is hence quite common for people to worry about how to get rid of cellulite. The important thing here is not about getting rid of cellulite immediately and temporarily but looking at ways on how to reduce cellulite and maintain your body. In order to do that, it is important to ask yourself – what causes cellulite? Cellulite is definitely not a topic that many people would want to discuss about. As a matter of fact, many women shy away from talking about their cellulite issues as they feel embarrassed about it. All those who have been worried and bogged down because of the cellulite and have always wanted to know what causes cellulite so that you can treat it, do not panic and fret. There are several ways to reduce cellulite and when you can actually accomplish your goal, you can quite easily spread the message on how to get rid of cellulite and help your friends do that same. But before we go there, let us understand what really is cellulite and how it gets accumulated. Quite common in women, though some men also suffer with this problem, cellulite is basically the fat cells that lie beneath the top layer of the skin. For several reasons, primarily genetic, the cellulite forms into dimples or loose patches-like bags on the skin, making the skin look uneven and bumpy. It is important to understand here that while human body needs fat to function effectively, to keep the body insulated and to protect the internal organs, these fat deposits in some parts of the body, particularly in women, can convert to cellulite. Cellulite is a major Continue reading >>

How To Burn Stored Body Fat — A Ketosis Primer

How To Burn Stored Body Fat — A Ketosis Primer

“So, how do you tell your body to start burning stored body fat?” my friend and fellow mother asked. “Cut the carbs,” answered another mom. “I go into ketosis just about every afternoon.” “Ketosis? Isn’t that bad for you?” The short answer? No. I talk to a lot of people who want to lose weight. They try all sorts of things — exercise, calorie restriction, you name it. Sometimes, they lose the weight. Inevitably, they gain it back. That’s because what they’re doing is going on a diet — a temporary fix at best. What they need is a lifestyle change, a perspective shift, a new paradigm. Of course, you all know the paradigm I espouse — a conversion to eating real, traditional foods. Yet even a conversion to eating real food won’t necessarily help the pounds melt away. If you’re still eating 200 grams of carbohydrates a day — even if they’re “traditional” carbohydrates like sprouted or soaked grains, unrefined sweeteners, etc, you’re not going to lose weight without making some serious changes. If your body is regularly storing body fat (you gain a little bit of weight each year), then something is wrong with how your body metabolizes food. Let me introduce you to a new concept: the body fat setpoint. The body fat setpoint is the mass of body fat that your body attempts to defend against changes in either direction. It’s your body’s attempt to maintain homeostasis. This is why if you exercise more, you eat more. It’s also why if you restrict calories, your metabolism slows down to compensate. Why should you care about the body fat setpoint? From Stephan at Whole Health Source: We care because this has some very important implications for human obesity. With such a powerful system in place to keep body fat mass in a narrow range, Continue reading >>

I Have Developed Cellulite On A Ketogenic Diet. How Is It Possible To Gain Fat On This Diet?

I Have Developed Cellulite On A Ketogenic Diet. How Is It Possible To Gain Fat On This Diet?

This is a really good question - I would be frustrated too in your situation. I think there are several factors that may be playing in to the response your body is having: First, you mention you’re eating less than 20 net carbs per day (which is great!), but you don’t mention your other macros - protein and fat. Remember, Keto is a low carb, moderate protein, and high fat diet with daily targets for all three of these macronutrients. If you’re only counting your carbs, your other macros may be totally out of whack, which could explain why you’ve gained fat. On keto, you’ll find that some people focus on percentages for each of the three macros I’ve listed above (65%-75% fat, 20%-30% protein, and 5%-10% carbs), but I think it’s much easier to calculate exactly how much of each you should be eating each day by counting grams rather than trying to calculate percentages all day. So on keto, the recommended starting point for most people in grams for each of the macros is 20 net grams of carbs, 50–75 grams of protein for women/100–125 grams of protein for men, and at least a 1:1 up to a 1:2 ratio of protein to fat for everyone. But as I said, these numbers are simply starting points. Everyone is different and their bodies will react differently to any dietary change, so these numbers are not set in stone. I recommend trying to hit these targets when you first start keto and then adjusting them if necessary once you’ve been on the diet for a while to achieve maximum benefits. So make sure you’re tracking all three macros. If you haven’t been doing that, try starting to track and see what happens. If you have been tracking all three, ask yourself if you have been hitting the targets I suggested. One thing that can be a problem is getting too much protei Continue reading >>

7 Key Facts About Getting Rid Of Cellulite

7 Key Facts About Getting Rid Of Cellulite

Over the years that I’ve been helping people deal with their weight and other issues – I’ve often been asked about how to get rid of cellulite. My standard answer has been “reverse the process that formed it in the first place” Which on the face of it seems pretty sensible though for many , that process happened over quite a long period of time. And really what they want is to be able to do, is get rid of it as quickly as possible. Yes diet will help a bit. Exercise will help a bit. But neither will get the smooth and sexy looking skin that the ladies remember they once had. Frankly, I’ve seen many claims for pills and potions, support pants and garments, loofars, rollers and massagers and many other weird, wacky and in my opinion down right daft – maybe even dangerous ways that supposedly get rid of cellulite. Strangely enough – none of these worked and up till only a short while ago, I did not have anything more to put forward. However that all changed recently and now I have seen something that I’m happy to suggest – more on that and the person behind it in a minute. (Or click Here if you can’t wait and just want to know what works). If you’ve tried any of these wacky things I’ve mentioned above, you know what I’m saying is the absolute truth. They are nothing but a total con as we’ll see. But before that, we need to ask the core question… Why don’t they work? And the main reason why they don’t work is because they are trying to treat the wrong problem! It’s as simple as that. Have you ever asked yourself the question… Just What is Cellulite? If we are to believe popular explanations, it is meant to be a special type of “fat gone wrong,” or a combination of fat, water, and “toxic wastes” that the body has failed to elim Continue reading >>

Ketogenic Diet : The Best Way Ever To Get Ripped!

Ketogenic Diet : The Best Way Ever To Get Ripped!

The Ketogenic diet pretty much goes against everything you've been told about dieting I'm extremely surprised by the results and how amazing I feel... I dropped 12 pounds in 6 weeks and lost about 3% body-fat (21% to 18%) and gained strength at the gym. All the bloating I used to have when clean eating went away, I have more energy and my hunger went down so much that I sometimes force myself to reach my 1500 calories per day. So even if it was hard getting into it at first, I though some of you would like to know about it! What is the Ketogenic Diet? Keto is a very low-carbohydrates, high-fat, adequate protein diet. The Ketogenic diet is almost 100 yeard old, it was use as a treatment for the epileptic patients in the 1920 and 1930s: How does the Ketogenic Diet work? When you drastically limit your carbohydrates intake, your body can longer rely on it as its main source of energy, fat will become your new main source of energy which also includes your body fat. When using fat as energy, your body will first break it into Ketones. When your Ketones level is higher than normal (meaning you're burning fat), you are in a state of Ketosis. 1. The Ketogenic Diet helps you lose body-fat, bad cholesterol and preservers your lean body mass! If you want to lose fat, this is the best way to do so. The reason for this is that when you're on a normal glycolytic metabolism, fat is considered as a backup fuel by your body and is only used as a last resort. On a "default metabolic state", if your body needs energy it will : First look for glucose in your blood-stream; If no glucose is found it will try to convert the glycogen in your liver into glucose; If no glycogen is found, it will break down MUSCLES and fat (fat being the very last option). Under Ketosis, fat is the first option! Continue reading >>

Getting Rid Of Cellulite With Ketosis

Getting Rid Of Cellulite With Ketosis

Ironically, ketosis can be your best ally or it can be your worst enemy if you are getting rid of cellulite. The reason why ketosis is such a tricky dietary strategy to implement is because it ultimately forces you to enter a very specific state which prevents your body from using carbohydrates as a fuel source. And because carbohydrates are the primary fuel source for all your organs, brain and other tissues you need to make sure that you enter ketosis the right way or everything could end up backfiring on you and you could suffer from a massive metabolic meltdown. So if you are dead set upon getting rid of cellulite and if you want to avoid a metabolic meltdown I am going to recommend that you really focus on the ultimate strategy I am going to present here. Now the ultimate strategy is to make sure that you slowly fade into ketosis so that your metabolic rate has a chance to adjust. Also, you will want to make sure that you are doing a bare minimum amount of resistance training a couple times per week so your body can ultimately keep on burning a significant amount of calories. Once you stop doing a large amount of resistance training the amount of calories you burn is going to go down drastically and you will start to notice that your cellulite is simply not going away as fast as it should. Unfortunately, this tends to happen a lot faster than usual when you are in ketosis because remember that when you are in ketosis your body does not have the necessary nutrients to maintain the amount of lean muscle tissue you have and to maintain your metabolic rate at the fastest speed possible. So remember to do a bare minimum amount of medium intensity resistance training to give your body the greatest chance of being able to maintain your metabolism. If you cannot maintain y Continue reading >>

When you consider how to get rid of cellulite you want to be absolutely certain that you utilize the right approach and really give it your all. Some Serious Strength Training The most important way to get rid of cellulite by far is strength training. Get Rid Of Cellulite Fast – A Guide For Women

Have you been struggling to get rid of cellulite fast? Are you confused by all the pills, rollers, massagers, creams and “skin treatments” out there? Have you lost a lot of weight only to notice that the cellulite is still there!? Even worse, has dimply cottage cheese-like cellulite put a strain on your love life??? If you answered yes to any of these questions rest assured that in this comprehensive guide you will learn to get rid of cellulite permanently. What got you to this point in the first place? Before we can attack your problem you need to understand what caused it. Otherwise, you’ll end up spinning your wheels trying every bogus treatment under the sun. And do you really feel like buying another body wrap or another bottle of pills only to be disappointed yet again? Probably not. In a nutshell, cellulite is caused by the uneven distribution of fat in between your skin and muscle tissue. And there are many contributing factors here: A lack of muscle tone Reduced collagen production – a skin tightening protein Poor micro-circulation (blood flow to the smaller areas in your lower body) A higher ratio of estrogen (fat storing hormone) to testosterone (fat burning hormone) And all of these are interrelated. A lack of muscle tone will reduce your metabolic rate which in turn will make it harder to burn dimply fat; poor circulation makes it extremely difficult for your body to reach and break down fatty acids; and lower levels of testosterone make you store fat while simultaneously decreasing your ability to recover from exercise. So you have to attack all of these factors in parallel if you’re serious about getting rid of cellulite once and for all. Here is the good news: you can fix all of these with a specialized exercise and diet program. Your program h Continue reading >>

How To Get Rid Of Cellulite The Biohacker Way

Losing weight is one thing. Getting rid of cellulite is a whole other ballgame. Even people who are happy with their body composition complain about not being able to get rid of cellulite, listing it as one of the top things they would change about themselves if they could. Speaking as a former 300-pound guy, this is not just a problem for women! Before you spend huge sums of money on well-marketed cellulite-reducing moisturizers, body wraps, or expensive med-spa administered light pulses, I have three suggestions that are simpler, cheaper, and more effective. Plus, these tips will lower inflammation and make you stronger and more resilient as a whole. What works naturally, as you’d expect, transforms you from the inside-out instead of the other way around. Three of the most effective ways I’ve found to reduce cellulite are through acceleration training (whole body vibration), Bulletproof Intermittent Fasting, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT). The Top 3 Bulletproof Ways to Hack Your Cellulite In order to figure out how to treat cellulite, it helps to know what causes it. Cellulite is created by enlarged fat cells pushing up against the connective tissue (made partially of collagen) just below your skin.[1] Since these tissues aren’t very flexible when the fat cells beneath them expand, they push out on your skin and cause dimples and irregular bumps. The more fluid and toxins you retain, the larger the cells get, so the worse your cellulite looks. This is one of the reasons inflammatory foods make cellulite worse! Below are the three most effective Bulletproof methods to decrease cellulite. 1. Acceleration Training Cellulite has been shown to improve measurably with acceleration training.[2][3][4] The idea of acceleration training is to cause tissues th Continue reading >>

So You Want To Know More About Keto?

So You Want To Know More About Keto?

Eat fat to burn fat and you don't need carbs. Read that line again. Memorize it. Let it become your mantra because that is truly what Keto is about. Sure, there are other guidelines to follow but that is truly the basis of the ketogenic lifestyle. My favorite part of Keto is that I always feel full and satisfied. That alone has helped me stick to it and its due largely to the high fat intake which keeps me both mentally and physically satiated. From a young age we have it ingrained in our heads that we need carbs for our bodies to function, if you've read anything about Keto you will already know that this is not entirely accurate. While our bodies are well adapted to converting and using carbs as glucose for energy, we also have the ability to convert and use fat as ketones for energy as well. The human body is a truly marvelous creation, imagine a car that can run on gas or water? That's the way I see it anyway, our body is capable of using its internal "computer" to change fuel sources. When our fuel source changes to ketones our metabolism does something incredible, it starts to use all our fat for energy. I'm not kidding, since our body burns our fat stores during ketosis, you begin to see crazy changes happening before your eyes. You know that problem spot you have, the one that you just can't get to go flat no matter how much dieting and exercise you do? Ya, well imagine that spot, gone! Seriously. You know that unspeakable cellulite? Also gone! It sounds too good to be true, but give it a month and you will see that I'm not making stuff up. Of course for great rewards one must exercise great self discipline. That means, for that first month of keto you should be SUPER on point about things. Seriously, be obsessive about it. Count and log every little thing you p Continue reading >>
