5 Simple Ways To Use Apple Cider Vinegar For Treating Diabetes 5 Simple Ways To Use Apple Cider Vinegar For Treating Diabetes Ravi Teja Tadimalla Apple cider vinegar has several uses, but one of the most important of those could be aiding diabetes treatment. But how does it do that? And wait, is ACV really effective in stalling diabetes symptoms in their tracks? Well, you need to read this article to find that out. Is Apple Cider Vinegar Good For Diabetes? Lets take a look at what the research says. One Iranian study speaks about how ACV might reduce blood sugar levels and have positive effects on blood cholesterol levels ( 1 ). Another small study found that it could improve the levels of blood sugar and insulin in the case of type 2 diabetes ( 2 ). Thats one side of the story. The other side talks about how ACV might actually worsen glycemic control, and this might aggravate diabetes symptoms a bit. A few other studies have also shown that ACV can slow down the rate at which food and fluids leave the stomach this makes it harder for any individual to control blood sugar. ACV might also interact with certain medications, and its strong taste may not be okay for all. So, thats a bag of mixed results. Whats the conclusion? Should you try it? ACV is not harmful per se. It is considered safe and can be worth a try. But ensure you use organic, unfiltered, and raw ACV because it will be higher in beneficial bacteria (and it appears cloudy too). Here are the various ways you can use ACV to aid your diabetes treatment. How To Use Apple Cider Vinegar For Diabetes Mix the ACV and water. Consume the mixture, along with the cheese, before bedtime. Try it for a week, and consult your doctor post the results. Follow his/her advice. Lemon & Baking Soda - This Combination Saves Lives
The combination of lemon and baking soda has 10,000 times stronger effect than chemotherapy! Why was this fact kept as a secret? Being totally aware of the powerful properties lemon provides is completely opposite to the interest some world organisations have. For that reason, we recommend you share this article and help a friend who needs it! Do you have any idea what's the recent number of deaths caused by the fact that this is being kept secret, in order to protect large corporations? Numerous studies have proven the anti-cancer properties of lemon. Lemon also provides other benefits, including its strong power in treating cyst and tumors. Lemons have the power to cure cancer, since it has been tested on all cancer types. Adding baking soda makes it even more powerful, because baking soda brings pH to normal level. Lemon also has potent antimicrobial effect in treating bacterial and fungal infections. It is effective in the fight against internal parasites and it regulates blood pressure. Lemon is beneficial for the nervous system as well – it is a powerful antidepressant, reducing stress and calming nerve crises. Lemon destroys cancer cells in 12 cancer types. It prevents metastasis of cancer cells and it is 10 000 stronger than drugs like Adriamycin, chemotherapy and narcotic products. What is more interesting is the fact that the combination of lemon extract and baking soda destroys cancer cells only, without harming healthy cells and tissues. The experiments have shown that patients diagnosed with cancer should drink lemon juice and a teaspoon of baking soda. This treatment can not cure the disastrous side effects of chemotherapy. The best way to be sure that lemons are organic without any chemicals used is to grow this fruit in your own garden or in a pot. Org Continue reading >>

Baking Soda For Uti: Does It Work, And Is It Safe?
Many home remedies claim to get rid of urinary tract infections but, often, there is no research to back them up. So, is it true that baking soda can help to treat these conditions? A urinary tract infection (UTI) is an infection in any part of the urinary tract, including the bladder, urethra, ureters, and kidneys. UTIs are among the most common infections treated in emergency rooms in the United States. Some people experience recurrent UTIs, which prompts them to look for alternatives to antibiotic medications. Drinking a small amount of baking soda, or sodium bicarbonate, mixed with water is a home remedy that some people have tried for UTIs. But, there is little research into the effectiveness of baking soda for UTIs, and it may not be safe for everyone to use. Read on to learn more about this remedy, other home remedies, and medical treatments to get rid of UTIs. Baking soda may neutralize acid in the urine. However, this treatment might pose a significant health risk when used incorrectly. Baking soda is said to neutralize the acid in the urine, which allegedly reduces symptoms of a UTI and allows the body to fight the bacteria causing the infection. People who support this remedy also claim that baking soda can stop the infection from spreading to the kidneys. But there is little evidence to suggest that baking soda can cure a UTI, although some people may report that it reduces their discomfort and urgency. People must remember that baking soda can be very harmful when taken incorrectly. In addition to this, research does not support the use of baking soda as an effective treatment for UTIs. The California Poison Control System reported on 192 cases of baking soda misuse, and almost 5 percent of these were related to people who were trying to treat a UTI. Most Continue reading >>

Insulin and Sodium Bicarbonate Treatment of Diabetic Ketoacidosis in Children This article has been cited by other articles in PMC. Nineteen patients, nine males and ten females had 24 episodes of diabetic ketoacidosis. Infection was the precipitating factor in the development of ketoacidosis. Recovery of ketoacidosis occurred with 0.7 units of crystalline insulin per kg of body weight. The insulin requirement is less than the generally recommended dose. Hypoglycemia, hypokalemia, and alkalosis were not developed in our children. Ketoacidosis was adequately corrected by 2.5 mEq of sodium bicarbonate per kg of body weight. Apple Cider Vinegar And Diabetes
OK, y’all. I wrote about this several years ago, but now I’m serious. If you want to control any type of diabetes better, consume vinegar before meals and at bedtime. Start today! It lowers post-meal and fasting glucose levels. In a study from Arizona State University, subjects took a drink of 20 grams of apple cider vinegar, 40 grams of water, and 1 teaspoon of saccharin with each meal. (I think stevia might be better than saccharin.) Those with insulin resistance who drank the vinegar had 34% lower postprandial (after-meal) glucose compared to controls. These postprandial benefits had been found before. It was thought that vinegar might slow the absorption of carbohydrate into the blood, or slow the breakdown of starches into sugars. This effect would mimic the effect of drugs like acarbose (brand name Precose). But the 2004 study cited above reported that vinegar reduced postprandial glucose more in subjects who were highly insulin resistant. The authors say this result shows that vinegar increases insulin sensitivity, perhaps acting similarly to metformin. Now studies have found that vinegar at bedtime reduces fasting blood glucose in the morning, indicating that vinegar might promote insulin production, like nateglinide (Starlix). Pretty amazing that a simple chemical like vinegar (acetic acid) could have the benefits of three different classes of diabetes drugs, and all for a few cents a dose! It’s likely good for both Type 2 and Type 1, especially for lowering postprandial glucose. And postprandial glucose levels account for 30% to 70% of A1C values. Vinegar has got to be the most cost-effective medicine in history, but most people with diabetes still aren’t taking it. And doctors aren’t prescribing it. Why not? Is it because there are no “vinegar rep Continue reading >>
Baking Soda - The Nightmare Of The Pharmaceutical Industry
Baking Soda The Nightmare of the Pharmaceutical Industry According to the result of research findings, cancer is a lactic acid, which is formed when a certain kind of fungus or moldlives in an environment devoid of oxygen. It was also discovered that by passing a very high concentration of oxygen molecules through cancer cells, it could destroy them completely. It is really very difficult for anyone to wrap their head around the idea that a substance as common as sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) can offer much more benefits than most of the pharmaceutical drugs that cost so much. There is however fascinating evidence that proves that sodium bicarbonate can indeed cure a lot of serious diseases, such as cancer and diabetes. Medical practitioners have also been advised to use it since it offers amazing benefits. Sodium bicarbonate, it must be noted, is a very widely researched substance, which has been used for several years even by oncologists. The toxicity of chemotherapy and radiation are such that could destroy vital organs of the body, like the liver and kidneys, therefore, sodium bicarbonate is usually given periodically to patients to prevent this possibility. All over the world, multitudes add sodium bicarbonate to their drinking water with the intention of curingclinical acidosis and other adverse conditions. It isa well known fact that sodium bicarbonate has saved a lot of lives in the emergengy rooms. The combination of baking soda with other natural substances like iodine and magnesium chloride produces a mixture that is a wonder in the medical world. A major issue with regards tohuman physiology is the problem of a lack of bicarbonate ions. This results in a decrease in the pH value of the blood. Enzymes are a fundamental part of biochemical reactions and th Continue reading >>
Baking Soda Bath: 10 Benefits And Risks
Baking soda or sodium bicarbonate is a household staple with many different uses, including baking. Adding baking soda to a bath may help detox the body or relieve itching, irritation, or infections. In this article, we look at the benefits of a baking soda bath and how taking one may help. We also examine some other types of detox baths and their uses. Baking soda has a range of uses and is popular as a home remedy for many conditions. Baking soda is a mixture of sodium ions and bicarbonate ions. It dissolves fully in water and is commonly added to oral hygiene and cleaning products, as it may help remove bacteria, odors, and acidity. These properties may also be helpful for the skin, especially if a person has certain skin conditions. Even without adding baking soda to the water, soaking in a warm bath may have valuable therapeutic properties by warming a person's muscles and helping them relax after a stressful day. A warm or hot bath can also promote sweating, which may help the body release toxins from the pores. A baking soda bath can be beneficial for many conditions, including: Many people experience yeast infections, but some symptoms, such as itching and swelling, can often make it difficult for a person to go about their daily activities. A baking soda bath may relieve symptoms and help a person recover faster. One study found that baking soda helped kill Candida cells, which are the fungal cells responsible for yeast infections. Research suggests that baking soda may be a useful as an antifungal agent against many of the fungal strains that commonly infect human skin and nails. People with the nail fungus onychomycosis, which causes thick, discolored, or crumbly nails, may find relief from regularly soaking their hands or feet in a baking soda bath. Diabetes - Acid Conditions And Treatment With Sodium Bicarbonate
A highly acidic pH level (created by all the above) puts the pancreas, liver, and all the bodys organs at risk. Because of the important role played by the liver in removing acid waste from the body, liver function is particularly at risk when acids accumulate. When acidity prevents the liver and pancreas from regulating blood sugar, the risk of diabetes will increase. We already know that sodium bicarbonate dramatically slows the progress of chronic kidney disease but few have followed the logical conclusion that it would also be a front line defense against diabetes. From prevention to treatment and to part of a cure, common Baking Soda is an essential tool in working with diabetic and metabolic syndromes. Obviously it does not take the place of an alkaline diet and water but bicarbonate is a front line medicine that doctors and patients can employ orally and transdermally in baths. Sodium bicarbonate injections are already indicated in the treatment of metabolic acidosis, which may occur in severe renal disease, uncontrolled diabetes, and circulatory insufficiency due to shock or severe dehydration, extracorporeal circulation of blood, cardiac arrest and severe primary lactic acidosis. But sodium bicarbonate can be used safely at home orally and transdermally (and should always be used with magnesium chloride for greatest effect) in all stages of diabetes. Low grade chronic metabolic acidosis exists normally in humans eating ordinary diets, and that the degree of acidosis increases with age. Dr Lynda Frassetto According to Dr Lynda Frassetto, an acid alkaline researcher from the University of California, We have been forced to turn an evolutionary corner. Our bodies are so overwhelmed with cellular acid-wastethat We simply do not handle acid waste the way we used to Continue reading >>

Can Drinking Apple Cider Vinegar Help With Diabetes?
Part 1 of 4 Overview Type 2 diabetes is a preventable and chronic disease that affects how your body controls sugar (glucose) in your blood. Medications, diet, and exercise are the standard treatments. But recent studies vouch for something you can find in most kitchen cabinets too: apple cider vinegar. Over 9 percent of Americans have type 2 diabetes, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). If apple cider vinegar has potential as a natural treatment, that would be good news indeed. Part 2 of 4 While a number of studies have looked at the link between apple cider vinegar and blood sugar management, they are usually small, with varying results. “There have been several small studies evaluating the effects of apple cider vinegar, and the results are mixed,” said Dr. Maria Pena, an endocrinologist in New York. “For example, there was one small study done in rats showing that apple cider vinegar helped lower LDL and A1C levels. But the limitation to this study is that it was only done in rats, not humans.” One study from researchers at Arizona State University found that taking 20 grams of apple cider vinegar diluted in 40 grams of water, with 1 teaspoon of saccharine, could lower blood sugar after meals. Another study found that taking apple cider vinegar before bed helped moderate blood sugar upon waking up. But both studies were small, looking only at 19 and 11 participants, respectively. Another study that looked at apple cider vinegar’s impact on type 1 diabetes found that it could actually worsen glycemic control, according to Pena. “The take-home message is that until a large, randomized control trial is done, it is difficult to ascertain the true benefits of taking apple cider vinegar,” she said. Part 3 of 4 Dilute apple cide Continue reading >>
The Dying Officer Treated For Cancer With Baking Soda
The dying officer treated for cancer with baking soda By Dr Giles Yeo and Tristan Quinn San Diego These are external links and will open in a new window The father of the alkaline diet, Robert O Young, is hailed as an inspiration by one of the UK's most popular food writers, Natasha Corrett, but he faces a jail sentence for practising medicine without a licence. One patient who believed he could cure her cancer, British army officer Naima Houder-Mohammed, paid thousands of dollars for his alkaline treatment, which consisted mainly of intravenous infusions of baking soda. In May 2009 Naima Houder-Mohammed was commissioned as a captain in the British army. The following year, tragedy struck. Naima was diagnosed with breast cancer. She received treatment and was declared cancer-free. But in 2012, while training with the army skiing team, it was discovered the cancer had returned. Her condition was so serious she was offered end-of-life care. "She refused to accept that this was the end," recalls her friend and former fellow officer, Afzal Amin. "Naima was a fighter. She fought to get through selection for Sandhurst. She fought through Sandhurst and she fought her way through her life in everything she dealt with - army skiing or whatever it may have been. And this for her was another fight in that long list of victories." As her medical options were limited, Naima did what many of us would do - she turned to the internet for a solution. She came across Dr Robert O Young, an American alternative health writer selling a message of hope for cancer patients online. Naima began an email correspondence with him, which reveals how pseudo-science can be used to manipulate the vulnerable. Young is the author of a series of books called the pH Miracle, which has sold more than four Continue reading >>

Baking Soda Miracle Cures & Hypertension (plus More On H1n1)
Baking Soda For the Flu? Due to our fast paced society, many people suffer from occasional indigestion. An old wives tale of 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in cool water has been used as remedy for this. It’s so common, that most have tried it and have found it to be helpful. But, does this old belief hold up as scientific? Absolutely! Sodium bicarbonate, the compound found in baking soda, has the ability to neutralize stomach acid due to it’s amphoteric nature. This means it can act as neutralizer for acids and bases. In fact, chemistry labs have used it for this very reason. In the body, when NaHCO3 reacts with the hydrochloric acid in the stomach, it is broken down to salt and carbon dioxide- both forms can be absorbed in the body. According to the Materia Medica: “The effect of an alkali in the stomach will vary according to the nature of the stomach contents at the time of administration. In the resting period (after food is digested) sodium bicarbonate merely dissolves mucus and is absorbed as bicarbonate into the blood, to increase its alkalinity directly. “In the digestive period it reduces the secretion of gastric juice, neutralizes a portion of the hydrochloric acid, liberates the carminative carbon dioxide gas, and is absorbed as sodium chloride. “In cases of fermentation or ‘sour stomach’ it may neutralize the organic acids and so result in the opening of a spasmodically closed pylorus (the opening between the stomach and the small intestine); while at the same time it acts to overcome flatulency (accumulation of gas in the stomach and bowels). “The time of administration must, therefore, be chosen with a definite purpose. Usually for hyperchlohydria (excess of acid) one hour or two hours after meals will be the period of harmful excess of acid. Continue reading >>
