Reviews & Complaints
Negative Review This company is awful to deal with. I ordered some InstaKetones- delivery took forever in a day. The company boasts free shipping--but it takes two weeks just to leave the warehouse..then another week to ten days before you receive your order. At any rate, the product didn't set well on my stomach. I tried many different doses & mixing with other liquids- all resulted in vomiting. I contacted the company to ask about an exchange or refund. It wasn't their fault the product didn't agree with me and I was more than willing to try a different product (despite how long it takes to get to me!). I was told the company doesn't offer refunds or offer credit and can't accept product once it's been opened. I asked how was I to know the product wouldn't work for me until I opened & tried it? Same response about not offering refunds/exchange/credit. My point is, it wasn't the money, I was more than willing to try a different product but the "company" insists on standing by their no refund policy. I find this to be unacceptable and not good practice. I was told the company is a small company and is working to resolve these types of issues. Julian Bakery has been in business since 2003.. it's 2017--by now, this aspect should have been worked out. 6/28/2017 Dana C. Negative Review I will never order from them again. I really believed in them and was the first company I found that sold great Paleo bread and fake cheese that actually tasted like cheese yet when I received a $30.00 order for the bread - b/c you have to buy 3 loaves at a time now, it was bad. It was wet and smelled extremely sour. I informed someone at customer service and they told me sorry, we don't refund or accept returns. OK, I get that they can't accept returns on food especially bad food but as a lo Continue reading >>
The Beginner’s Guide To Exogenous Ketones
Have you been wondering what exogenous ketones are? If so, you’re not the only one. The keto-dieting world has been buzzing with information about developments on exogenous ketones for awhile now, with many brands producing exogenous ketones that are used by Keto lifestylers around the world. But the majority of Keto dieters don’t completely understand what exogenous ketones are or how they can benefit their diet (or dieting options). In this post, we’ll provide you with easy to read information about exogenous ketones. With this knowledge, you’ll be able to utilize exogenous ketones in your diet, and teach others about their value. Let’s start with the label! The Definition of Exogenous Ketones Two words: exogenous and ketones. The word exogenous describes something that is developed from external factors; something outside of the usual production. So in terms of ketones, this means that exogenous ketones are synthetic: created outside of your body by scientists and then ingested for accelerated ketosis. We assume that you already know what ketones are, but just in case, we’ll give you a brief description of this term as well. Ketones, are organic compounds produced by in your body when your system experiences starvation, or when you restrict carbohydrates and increase fats, which inhibits a starvation-like state that produces ketone bodies. These ketones are an ideal fuel source for your body and your brain. Studies have suggested that when your body is in a ketogenic state, it utilizes oxygen more efficiently in the generation of energy. In short, ketones are secret weapons for anyone looking to take their body’s fueling system to the next level! To restate the point: Exogenous Ketones are ketone supplements. They’re created outside of your body and i Continue reading >>
Julian Bakery Instaketones Orange Burst Flavor – Review & Results
With the conversation of exogenous ketones growing daily, and my own personal interest in drinking ketones for the health and fat loss benefits, I decided to give the Julian Bakery Instaketones a try to see how it compared to Pruvit’s Keto-OS ketones. The Julian Bakery Instaketones comes in two flavors: Orange Burst or Unflavored, and either caffeinated or decaf. Since I like mixing my ketones with just plain water and taking separately from food, I went with the Orange Burst with caffeine. I love me some caffeine! What are Exogenous Ketones? So what are KETONES anyway? And what are EXOGENOUS KETONES? Well, if you’re following a strict ketogenic diet extremely low in carbs and high in fat, your liver will naturally make ketones and you’ll be “in ketosis.” Ketosis is a natural metabolic state where your body is burning fat for fuel instead of glucose (sugar/carbs). However, the average person never gets to experience ketosis (especially Americans on the SAD diet) since we eat over eat carbs as a society and the ketogenic diet is tough to follow. Trust me I know, I only lasted one month on a strict ketogenic diet. This is where an exogenous ketones supplement can be of great benefit! Exogenous simply means “from outside.” You can simply mix up your ketones powder with water, and within about an hour you’re in ketosis! It’s like magic! Benefits of Exogenous Ketones Supplementing with exogenous ketones can provide many health benefits, such as: weight loss/fat loss suppressed appetite decreased carb cravings energy/increases endurance mental brain boost/focus anti-inflammatory reduces pain in the body helps with sleep clears skin What’s amazing about having elevated ketone levels in the blood is that your brain can only use either glucose or ketones for Continue reading >>

Every day it seems there’s a new article, podcast, YouTube video, or infomercial touting the benefits of ketones. And all that attention is largely justified because if you can find the right product and stick to the plan, the chances are good that you’ll be able to lose weight and get in shape through the lifestyle. That’s why we’re here, to make sense of it all. Below we’re going to take a close look at one highly touted product - Julian Bakery Instaketones - and see if it lives up to the hype. It's a phenomenon that is well-documented, scientifically verified and has been practiced/recommended for nearly a century as a treatment for various maladies. It has found favor in recent years for its ability to promote effective, sustainable weight loss and it's that effect that products like Julian Bakery Instaketones are intended to provide. Julian Bakery Review
Julian Bakery is a paleo food company that is based out of Oceanside, California. The name seems friendly and the products look delicious, so I wanted to look into their company more. They offer paleo protein bars, Julian Bakery paleo wraps, Julian Bakery paleo bread, as well as other products like ketone bars and cereal. When I hear the word bakery, I think fresh bread baking with a variety of other options to choose from, which brings only good memories. In this case, they are offering healthy foods, so I can only imagine people’s willingness to try healthy food out of a fresh bakery, right? Wrong. You can only order it online or buy it in select stores in Southern California. Company Contact Information: Julian Bakery, Inc. 624 Garrison St. Oceanside, CA 92054 (760) 721-5200 There are little to no claims made on the direct website, but there are descriptions about each of their products and the ingredients inside. This information is nice to know, and not every company supplies its customers with an ingredient list. They have no terms and conditions from their website when directly looking at purchasing, so it was hard to tell if they had a money back guarantee. Just from reading different Julian Bakery reviews, if you open their products you are not eligible for any sort of refund. For 12 bars it will cost around $29.99 plus shipping costs, and for the paleo wraps it will cost $8.99 plus shipping for 7 wraps. If you have a Julian Bakery promo code or Julian Bakery coupon, however, it will drop the price. Regarding their protein bars they claim, “Incredibly delicious bars each with 20g Protein (From Egg White, Organic Plant Protein, Grass Fed Beef) these awesome bars are 100% Paleo, Gluten-free, GMO-free, Grain-free, High-fiber, Dairy-free, Whey-free, No Sugar Al Continue reading >>
