PORT RICHEY — A worker at a Port Richey pharmacy was arrested Tuesday afternoon after Pasco sheriff's deputies say he stole dozens of boxes of diabetes test strips and sold them on eBay. Ramy Nader Marcos, 30, told deputies that he stole 40 boxes of test strips between January and March, according to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office arrest report. Marcos said he hid the strips in a box for another product before leaving work at the CVS pharmacy at 7120 Ridge Road. Each box of test strips is valued at $145, for a total value of $5,800. He sold the strips at a discount, earning $3,392 on the online auction site, the report said. He was arrested on felony charges of dealing in stolen property and operating a scheme to defraud.
