Can This Simple Lifestyle Secret Cure Diabetes In Men?

Can this simple lifestyle secret cure diabetes in men? Can this simple lifestyle secret cure diabetes in men? Can this simple lifestyle secret cure diabetes in men? Will easy, moderate activities actually cure diabetes? The answer will surprise you. Dr. Ann Albright is not only cute. She is a director at the Centers for Disease Control and she thinks weve figured out how to cure diabetes in many men. And the cure isnt strenuous exercise. Or strange or difficult diets. Or downing unusual expensive supplements. Remember, there are 2 kinds of diabetes that affect men. Type 1 requires insulin and has yet to be cured. Type 2 is very common and is the kind that men most often develop as they get older. The American Diabetes Association says that almost 30 million cases of diabetes are going to be diagnosed. This is bad! Guys with diabetes face severe declining health. A life that can include many side effects from multiple medications. Loss of sight is common. Loss of toes and limbs can happen too. And sexual side effects. Continue reading >>

The Cure For Type 2 Diabetes Is Known, But Few Are Aware

The Cure For Type 2 Diabetes Is Known, But Few Are Aware

The cure for type 2 diabetes is known, but few are aware I recently posted to Facebook about a cure for diabetes and suggested someone try it. Just six days later, I received the following message from a friend: I just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for that post… My lab results at the beginning of the month were 230. After just this last week it’s down to 155. I think I’ll be in normal range within a month. Really miraculous… It’s really been a game changer for me already and I wanted you to know how much I appreciated the info and how much of a difference I think it will make in my life. Four months later, the friend posted this to Facebook: I started on this regiment when Nathan posted about it [four months ago]. My blood glucose level at that time, while taking two daily glucose meds, was 235. Two weeks ago, my [fasting] glucose level, WITHOUT the meds, was 68. If you google “diabetes cure” you are directed to websites like WebMD and the Mayo Clinic where you find information on diet, exercise, medication, and insulin therapy, but nothing about the cure. This lack of information may have to do with the fact that Americans spend $322 billion a year to treat diabetes, $60 billion a year on weight-loss programs, and $124 billion a year on snack foods. This is about 3% of the US economy! Because so many peoples’ livelihoods are supported by diabetes and its main cause, obesity, the viral effect of people getting cured and telling others is greatly diminished. Because of this understandable stifling of the message, if you are like my Facebook friend and have already experienced the type 2 diabetes cure for yourself — there are thousands of you out there — it is important for you to share your success stories as far and wide as possible. You c Continue reading >>

Type 2 Diabetes: Can You Cure It? - Topic Overview

Type 2 Diabetes: Can You Cure It? - Topic Overview

Can you "reverse" type 2 diabetes? Can you cure it? Diabetes can go into remission. When diabetes is in remission, you have no signs or symptoms of it. But your risk of relapse is higher than normal.1 That's why you make the same daily healthy choices that you do for active type 2 diabetes. There is no known cure for type 2 diabetes. But it can be controlled. And in some cases, it goes into remission. For some people, a diabetes-healthy lifestyle is enough to control their blood sugar levels. That means losing weight if you are overweight, eating healthy foods, and being more active. But most people with type 2 diabetes also need to take one or more medicines or insulin. Of those people who don't need diabetes medicine, some find that their diabetes does "reverse" with weight control, diabetes-healthy eating, and exercise. Their bodies are still able to make and use insulin, and their blood sugar levels go back to normal. Their diabetes is in remission. "Complete remission" is 1 year or more of normal A1c and fasting glucose levels without using diabetes medicine. When you have complete remission, you still get tested for high blood sugar, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and kidney and eye problems. You do regular foot checks.1 "Prolonged remission" is 5 years or more of normal A1c and blood sugar levels without using diabetes medicine. You might have lab tests less often. But your doctor will still check on any heart, eye, foot, or other health problems you have had from diabetes, even if they are better than before.1 Remission is most likely in the early stage of diabetes or after a big weight loss. It can also happen after bariatric surgery for weight loss, which can trigger healthy changes in the body's insulin system. Remission is less likely in the later st Continue reading >>

Extract From This Vegetable Could Be Secret Cure For Diabetes

Extract from this vegetable could be secret cure for diabetes More than 300 million people around the world have diabetes. Diabetes has become a growin epidemic. (Photo: Pixabay) The secret to treating diabetes may lie in broccoli. Researchers claim a compound in the vegetable can help lower blood sugar levels, the Daily Mail reported. Consuming or drinking it in the form of juice could also help stop type 2 diabetes. Currently, there are issues with existing drug treatments. One of them is a blood-sugar lowering drug called Metformin. However, the drug affects the kidneys of 15% of diabetics taking it. Sulforaphane, the compound found in broccoli has very few side effects, Professor Anders Rosengren, of the Lund University Diabetes Centre told the Daily Mail. Adding it has "potential to become an important compliment to existing treatment options for type 2 diabetes". Sulforaphane was also found the compound had a tremendous benefit for obese patients with type 2 diabetes and people with pre-diabetes. Rosengren also suggested changed to lifestyle is the most important therapy for type 2 diabetes, as it has become a worldwide epidemic. More than 300 million people have diabetes globally. January 4, 2018 Breaking News:

Why Is Dr. Oz Being Sued by Big Pharma For Sharing This Revolutionary Diabetes Curing Diet? Currently, Dr. Oz is trending on Social Media because of a legal battle between him and three of the biggest pharmaceutical companies around. The companies claim a diabetes curing diet Dr. Oz found called 7 Steps to Health and The Big Diabetes Lie should be taken off of the internet. The public claims big pharma doesn’t like it because it hurts their profits. Being one of the most trusted names in the world when it comes to modern medicine. Dr. Oz’s followers are confident “He will never ever recommend something to people that could hurt them”. When Dr. Oz found out that 7 Steps to Health and The Big Diabetes Lie is responsible for over 11,000 people per year being fully cured of type 2 diabetes; he knew the world had to see this. It just so happens those same drug companies experienced a collective 18-point drop in their stock values right before the lawsuit was filed. Dr. Oz’s supporters have taken their frustration to social media saying that losing money is the real reason they’re suing him. Many people think this is the true reason for them filing the lawsuit against him. Dr. Sidorov discovered the cure for type 2 diabetes over 9 years ago. However, he couldn’t continue his research because the diabetes-drug company Sanofi bought out the organization that funded his research, then scrapped his project to silence him. Dr. Max Sidorov’s discovery... In his study of countless patients, he discovered that type 2 diabetes doesn’t cause the insulin blocking layer of fat to form and settle around the pancreas like the medical community originally thought it did. Rather, that nuisance layer of fat that blocks insulin is in fact, the real cause for diabetes! This is Continue reading >>

Chef Ernest Quansah Tells How He Cured His Type 2 Diabetes

Chef Ernest Quansah Tells How He Cured His Type 2 Diabetes

Secret Recipe: How a Chef Cured His Type 2 Diabetes When Ernest Quansah was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes , he got serious about changing his habits and living healthier. Here's his story. I'm a chef and pastry chef by trade. I would bake desserts, cookies, and cakes and eat them for breakfast , lunch, and dinner. Overworked and stressed, I didn't have time to take proper care of myself. All of a sudden, I noticed I was having an intense craving for sugar. I'd buy massive jugs of lemonade and drink it all day long. I began to lose weight very rapidly. In one month, I lost about 20 pounds. I noticed a sticky, whitish substance covering my tongue and the corners of my eyes each morning. In a panic, I went to my doctor. He said, "We need to get a blood test right now, because I suspect you have diabetes ." The test results showed my blood sugar was 394. (For most people without diabetes, blood sugar levels before meals hover around 70 to 80 mg/dL.) My doctor said, "Do you realize you're steps away from going into cardiac arrest?" He put me on heavy doses of medication. Then my eyes shut down. I couldn't see, though after 4 weeks, my eyesight came back. I was 46 and felt overwhelmed. Finally, after 2 years of struggling, I asked my doctor, "Can my diabetes be cured?" He asked me if it ran in my family. I said no. He then said, "Yes. The best way to cure it is by using several approaches all working together." I put together a diet and exercise program with my doctor. Basically, I ate no simple carbohydrates. I'd make my favorite soup -- tofu and cabbage with lots of vegetables. Or I'd cut up raw vegetables and eat them with hummus . For breakfast , I'd make steel-cut oats with a little cream and egg whites. I stopped drinking anything sweet. Every morning, I'd go to the g Continue reading >>

Sami Inkinen On His Bold Plan To Cure Type 2 Diabetes Forever

Sami Inkinen On His Bold Plan To Cure Type 2 Diabetes Forever

Sami Inkinen founded and then exited Trulia about a year after Zillow snapped it up for $3.5 billion in 2014. He’s since moved on to build Virta, a health care startup claiming it can cure type 2 diabetes. It’s a bold claim. Most treatment plans offer to help those with the disease manage it, not get rid of it. But Inkinen, with zero medical background, believes he’s found a way to wholly eradicate diabetes for good. The secret is as simple as a low-carb diet. It seems pretty obvious — cut out the sugar and bad carbs and your diabetes will get better. But that’s easier said than done with humans. Inkinen tells me he’s learned through time where the pain points are and what people need to truly succeed. So far Virta has conducted a small trial involving 262 people and the results seem promising. A majority (91 percent) of those participating finished the program and 87 percent of them either reduced their dosage or went off their insulin, says the startup. Over half of the participants were able to reduce at least one of their diabetes medications. I sat down with Inkinen to talk about his company and why he decided to jump into the health care space after his success in the real estate field. SB: That’s a bold claim that you’re making that you can cure diabetes. SI: Yeah totally…Without tech you can’t do Virta. We’re not just a software company, we’re a software company that combines biochemistry and science to cure the disease. If one of those is wrong it’s not going to work. SB: Do you worry you tell them a bit too early to get off their medications? SI: Yeah, that’s precisely the reason why we have our own doctors. That’s precisely the reason why we have a full-stack health care company…It’s absolutely critical that we get this data Continue reading >>

Is There A Conspiracy Preventing A Diabetes Cure?

Is There A Conspiracy Preventing A Diabetes Cure?

For as long as there has been research to cure diabetes, there have been people who believe that a cure will never happen because treating this disease is simply far too profitable. Those who believe in this so-called "conspiracy theory" are convinced that pharma companies have a vested interest in keeping diabetes around as long as possible because peddling their treatments is far bigger business than a cure could ever be. We all know that diabetes is a multi-billion dollar industry, including sales of insulin, oral agents and injectibles like Victoza, and medical devices such as insulin pumps, glucose monitors and their pricey test strips, and new continuous glucose monitors. Type 2 diabetes is increasing exponentially, but even type 1 diabetes is growing at a dramatic rate, which means more and more consumers. The latest flare-up over a possible "conspiracy" occurred in August, when a news article about controversial researcher Dr. Denise Faustman circulated around the diabetes community. In the article, Faustman says that when she approached pharmaceutical companies for funding, she was told "there wasn't enough money to be made in a cure that used an inexpensive, generically available vaccine." But is that even true? Certainly, there are legitimate financial considerations these companies' research & development decisions. But does that mean they never work on cure research? Would pharma really sweep a possible cure under the rug to protect their own interests -- especially if it turned out to be a cheap vaccine? Who's to say? We decided it would be fascinating to tap some prominent experts in the diabetes community to get their perspective on the "D-conspiracy theory." Exploring Motives Kelly Close, a type 1 PWD and president of diabetes consulting firm Close Conc Continue reading >>

Man Cures His Diabetes In 11 Days With 'starvation Diet'

Man Cures His Diabetes In 11 Days With 'starvation Diet'

“I was stunned,” he said. “I have always been a healthy weight, 5ft 7in and 10st 7lb. I had no family history of diabetes, ate a healthy diet, never smoked and I did not have a sweet tooth.” Researching on the internet, he found Newcastle University scientists had devised a low-calorie diet said to reverse diabetes in eight weeks. It involved eating 800 calories a day – a man’s recommended intake is 2,500. This was made up of 600 calories from meal replacement shakes and soups and 200 calories from green vegetables, plus three litres of water a day. The diet was devised by Roy Taylor, professor of medicine and metabolism at Newcastle. It is based on the fact that Type 2 diabetes is often caused by fat clogging up the liver and pancreas, which are crucial in producing insulin and controlling blood sugar. Professor Taylor’s studies show that drastic dieting causes the body to go into starvation mode and burn fat stores for energy – and the fat around the organs seems to be targeted first. This leads to the liver and pancreas becoming unclogged and insulin and blood sugar levels returning to normal. With the consent of his GP, Londoner Mr Doughty, who works in the media, followed the diet, setting a target weight of 8st 12lb. He said: “Surviving on a soup, two shakes and green veg wasn’t easy.” But the weight dropped off, and tests proved he had reversed the condition. “I stuck to the diet for 11 days and reduced my blood sugar to a healthy non-diabetic level,” Mr Doughty added. “It has remained that way for the past year and I have kept to just under 9st.” Professor Taylor said: “While it has long been believed that Type 2 diabetes will steadily get worse, we have shown we can reverse the condition.” Continue reading >>

My Diabetes Secret

My Diabetes Secret

I am a T2. A few years ago I had gastroparesis for the first time. It took over a month to get it diagnosed. I went from 375# to 280# in a month because I could not eat or keep liquids down. It was so scary and I felt lost and helpless that I wanted to die. I was lucky that it resolved on its own and Ive had major problems since. I will say having gastroparesis changes your stomach and digestion for good. ive been t1d for 8 years and for the past few i just stopped caring. i forget insulin or to test my blood sugar before i eat and just put any random number in my pump to correct which rarely ends well. during my last endo appointment my doc took a urine sample and said i had protein in my urine and called for more tests that showed the same thing. idk if that means i have kidney damage but i dont care if i do. im tired and always in pain i constantly think about ending my life. I have been in and out of the ICU 4 or 5 times in the past 6 months. Im struggling so much and nobody in my life could understand what I am going through and I feel so alone. I know what I am doing is killing me, but that doesnt really seem to matter anymore. I am tired of diabetes. Tired of being sick. I dont care if not taking my injections and not testing makes me sick. Im just done with all of it. Ive had T1D for 20 years, I was diagnosed at 15 months old, its all Ive ever known, there is part of me that wishes I could be normal, not have to think about all the shit it entails. And the the other part thinks that I wouldnt be me without it, that I wouldnt get cured because then thered be nothing interesting about me, that its almost my entire identity. Ive had T1D for over 17 years now and Im not even 30. Im going through unheard of complications and theyre painful. I fear I cant complete an Continue reading >>

A Diabetes Cure Is Here Now For Type 2 Diabetics

A Diabetes Cure Is Here Now For Type 2 Diabetics

Did you go looking for the diabetes cure? I did, as soon as I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. There had to be something. All I needed to do was find it. Go looking for offers of cures and you will find them. On web site after web site there are claims of a natural diabetes cure. Sure, the diabetic cures were expensive, but they promised your money back if you were not satisfied. It sounded good to me. What did I have to lose? So I tried some of the cures, but they did not work. The money back promise was not kept either. Since then I have found some natural herbal supplements for diabetic symptoms. They don't claim to cure type 2 diabetes, but they can help. Here are some that worked in clinical tests. I believe a cure will be found for every kind of diabetes. Researchers are working on an artificial pancreas for type 1 diabetics, and they can implant beta cells to replace damaged ones. There is also stem cell research. Learn more about what is going on with stem cells right now. But while we wait, there is proof that over half of type 2 diabetics can see their disease reversed by two things - exercise and diet. So a type 2 diabetes cure today simply means the reversal of diabetic symptoms, getting off diabetic medications and having a normal hemoglobin A1C. The great thing about exercise and diet is they cost nothing. Well, not quite nothing. There are decisions to make, like climbing out of depression. I was depressed for years after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. It kept me from dealing with what it meant to be diabetic. Looking back, I didn't see what depression was doing. Many diabetics have the same problem. Depression is is high among diabetics because type 1 and 2 diabetes are chronic conditions with serious complications. After rejecting depression, Continue reading >>

Apple Has A Secret Team Working On The Holy Grail For Treating Diabetes

Apple Has A Secret Team Working On The Holy Grail For Treating Diabetes

Apple has hired a small team of biomedical engineers to work at a nondescript office in Palo Alto, California, miles from corporate headquarters. They are part of a super secret initiative, initially envisioned by the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, to develop sensors that can noninvasively and continuously monitor blood sugar levels to better treat diabetes, according to three people familiar with the matter. Such a breakthrough would be a "holy grail" for life sciences. Many life sciences companies have tried and failed, as it's highly challenging to track glucose levels accurately without piercing the skin. The initiative is far enough along that Apple has been conducting feasibility trials at clinical sites across the Bay Area and has hired consultants to help it figure out the regulatory pathways, the people said. The efforts have been going on for at least five years, the people said. Jobs envisioned wearable devices, like smartwatches, being used to monitor important vitals, such as oxygen levels, heart rate and blood glucose. In 2010, Apple quietly acquired a company called Cor, after then-CEO Bob Messerschmidt reportedly sent Jobs a cold email on the topic of sensor technologies for health and wellness. Messerschmidt later joined the Apple Watch team. The glucose team is said to report to Johny Srouji, Apple's senior vice president of hardware technologies. According to one of the sources, it was previously led by Michael D. Hillman, who left Apple in late 2015 and later joined Facebook's Oculus as head of hardware. Hillman's LinkedIn page lists him as having had a "confidential role" in hardware technologies at Apple. One person said about 30 people were working in this group as of a year ago. But speculation has been flying around since the company snapped Continue reading >>

Type 2 Diabetes Cure: Man Discovers Natural Way To Rid Himself Of Dangerous Condition

Type 2 Diabetes Cure: Man Discovers Natural Way To Rid Himself Of Dangerous Condition

Keith Dawson has type 2 diabetes, a potentially lifelong condition which affects millions of people and can dramatically reduce life expectancy. However, the Manchester businessman put the condition into remission after just 10 weeks of training under the expert guidance of a personal trainer from UP Fitness. Keith was overweight, constantly tired and taking medication for the condition. He would eat ready meals and takeaways and regularly eat out before he started the diet. If diabetes is not properly managed it can lead to serious consequences such as sight loss, limb amputation, kidney failure and stroke. However, Keith has reduced his blood sugar levels and is now off medication. “You get around 60 and you tend to think you can put it off until tomorrow. If that was to continue then my life was going to go nowhere,” he said. “I had diabetes - at the time on tablets my blood sugar levels were around 11.6. “After a couple of weeks I came off the tablets and for the past eight weeks the levels have been below six. Fri, August 19, 2016 Diabetes is a common life-long health condition. There are 3.5 million people diagnosed with diabetes in the UK and an estimated 500,000 who are living undiagnosed with the condition. “Last Friday when I went for my diabetic blood sugar test I am now medically in remission as far as diabetes is concerned. He said there is now no need for the tablets any more, and has realised he can monitor his blood sugar by controlling his eating habits, exercising, and monitoring how much he drinks. Keith said: “Now I would say I feel fitter and more energetic then I did twenty years ago. “I suppose socially I am feeling the benefits. I am finding that I am walking more and I’m caring for my body a lot more. “I’m sleeping better. Be Continue reading >>

How I Cured Diabetes In Five Steps, And Why One-third Of U.s. Adults Will Have Diabetes By 2050

How I Cured Diabetes In Five Steps, And Why One-third Of U.s. Adults Will Have Diabetes By 2050

(NaturalNews) First it was Fast Food Nation. Now it's Diabetic Nation. That's because fast food leads to diabetes, and America is now drowning in both. A new report by the CDC says that by 2050, nearly one-third of American adults will be diabetic. It's a windfall of profits for the drug companies, diabetic supply companies and the sick care industry in general. Perhaps that's why no one is taking any real action to halt the anticipated explosion in diabetes. The more people who get sick, after all, the more money will be spent on medical treatment. (It's good for the economy, they say!) But solutions to diabetes exist right now. I've personally interviewed patients who were cured of type-2 diabetes in as little as four days at Dr Gabriel Cousens' Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center near Tucson, Arizona (www.TreeOfLife.nu). My own book entitled How to Halt Diabetes in 25 Days has helped thousands of people prevent and even reverse diabetes in under a month. (As NaturalNews readers know, I used to be borderline diabetic myself, and I suffered from hypoglycemia and borderline obesity at the same time. But I was able to cure my own pre-diabetes condition by doing essentially two things: 1) Ignoring all doctors and conventional medicinal information, and 2) Teaching myself the principles of nutrition (through lots of reading). Today, about a decade later, I remain fit, healthy and athletic. At age 41, I lift weights, swim, bicycle and exercise on a regular basis while carefully choosing foods that will prevent diabetes for a lifetime. Here are my top five secrets for preventing (and even reversing) diabetes... My top secrets for preventing and reversing diabetes Secret #1) Stop eating all refined sugars. This means giving up all foods made with HFCS (especially soda) or other Continue reading >>

Eight Ugly Truths About Pharma And Type 1 Diabetes

Eight Ugly Truths About Pharma And Type 1 Diabetes

When we get past the conspiracy theories about Big Pharma, we can focus on the market forces that hamper cure research. This post was originally titled “No One is Hiding a Cure for Type 1 Diabetes.” “BS More pharma empire lies.” This comment, posted in response to a Type 1 research effort, is not uncommon in diabetes forums on Facebook. The pharmaceutical industry may provide the medicine that keeps people with Type 1 diabetes alive, and sponsor many conferences and diabetes-related websites (including, through advertising, this one), but it is also the biggest villain of the diabetes community. In my role as Insulin Nation’s editor, I’ve had the chance to hear many conspiracy theories about the pharmaceutical industry, and to see some of the industry’s inner workings. What I’ve found is that while the conspiracy theories don’t match up with facts, the truth about Big Pharma often isn’t pretty. With this in mind, I’ve provided eight observations about how the pharmaceutical industry treats the diabetes community. There is no diabetes cure hidden in a Big Pharma bunker. Many of the cure research efforts are being done by outside researchers with little to no affiliation with pharma companies. There is an overwhelming public interest to stop diabetes, and the government would come down hard on someone withholding a cure. But…. Pharma seems more interested in treating diabetes than curing it. Look at the amount of money allocated to developing new insulin formulations versus the amount researchers manage to scrape together for Type 1 diabetes cure research. The pharmaceutical industry is in the business of making pharmaceuticals. Pharma companies raise insulin prices to keep themselves in the black. If you get a chance, listen in on some earnings ca Continue reading >>
