Normally the fruit would spike a type 2s blood glucose, but Many ppl have found that by combining with the veg, it keeps BG nicely low (your mileage may of course vary). Test your own BG reaction to any green smoothie before deciding it is appropriate for you! It may be necessary to avoid the sweeter tropical fruit (I usually use berries).
