On December 19, 2014, I woke up to a phone call from a diabetic educator. This struck me as a little odd because I hadnt been officially diagnosed with diabetes yet (the nurse who called me the day before said I had blood sugar levels they saw in Type 1 Diabetics). I scheduled my appointment with her after meeting with the doctor who would tell me that I do in fact have Type 1 Diabetes. That day was filled with several activities to keep me busy: a doctor appointment, trying (and failing) to get my insulin, meeting with a diabetic educator, picking up blood sugar testing supplies, successfully picking up insulin, packing my car, and driving six hours home from my university for winter break. I had been so busy doing things, and it had come on so quickly (I hadnt even realized how sick I was), that I didnt really have time to emotionally process my diagnosis. When I finally paused and reflected on my situation, I felt incredibly frustrated at the utter lack of fairness. I was convinced I had done nothing to deserve this horrible disease. I angrily questioned God about why, after the worst couple months of my life, He decided to give me diabetes. I suppose if I had actually listened to Him, I wouldve gotten through the bitterness a little easier, but instead its taken me time, mistakes, and growing in faith to get a better understanding of my situation. Does any one know of someone who has had their Type 1 reversed? This was a genuine question. The book is called Life on the line published by Monarch books. The preachers name is Des Sinclair and on page 216 he claims to have had many letters stating that God has healed them from diabetes when he prayed for them. Doctors also confirmed that their patients were no longer dependant on insulin. Yes, my friend has had a pancreas transplant, for the first time in 57 years he is free of T1. I'll try pretty much anything - but praying? My wife is reading a book about a Christian preacher in New Zealand who prayed for a guy and there type one diabetes was healed. I'm sure you will be healed of diabetes. I attended a retreat on the 26th of June at the Tabor Bhavan ashram in Kalyan, Maharashtra, Indian, on the 3rd day after the healing service the Priest announced that some ones Pancreas is being healed .I knew it was me cause I was praying for the healing of my Pancreas. I stopped my medicines. After a week i went for a blood test and the results were negative. I repeat the test twice after a interval of 2 weeks and my reports were negative. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ. I am 16 years old and have had Type One Diabetes for a little over ten years. How I Healed From Diabetes
This piece of work is a personal experience how I healed myself from diabetes through the power of prayer. If you just have a little bit of faith, you would heal from your struggles financial situation or the most terribles illness. It is just with a little bit of faith. I am Catholic and recognize that I know almost nothing about Gods word, but I do know that a miracle worked by the Holy Spirit saved my life. I suffered from diabetes for over 25 years. As a Catholic, I like to pray the Holy Rosary, but one day I felt inside of me the need to talk with God face to face. Then I decided to do a round of prayer of six hours straight. It began at six AM and continued until noon. For this special occasion, I prepared an altar: a little center table where I placed an image ofJesus, a Bible, Holy water, a white rose, a white candle, incense, a Holy Rosary, a little book explaining the Holy Rosary recitations, Novena of Divine Jesus Child, and I dressed myself completely in white. During my prayers I remembered a biblical quote by Jesus: All you should ask for, ask it the merits of my infancy, and all you have asked for it will be conceded. Therefore I beg being healed of the arthritis pain from my right hand. Days later having concluded the round of prayer, I noted that my arthritis pain was gone. I praise and worship the Lord for His blessings and for healing me in March, 1972. I was not a Christian at the time and worked at a paint shop. I had taken medicine for a long time because of bad colds. As I drank wine and took the medicine, the disease grew worse and worse. Finally I lost so much strength in my legs it was difficult to walk straight. I went to inquire and found my symptoms meant diabetes. From then on I took medication for diabetes regularly and ate only a little food each day. Nothing seemed to relieve the pain in my body, and I was depressed. While I was taking the medicine I drank a lot of wine in order to keep my mouth from becoming dry. This, of course, was an excuse and very poor reasoning. Even with the various Chinese medicines there was no relief. I wandered here and there looking for help. Finally I went to a fortuneteller and spent much money for him to repeat the useless sayings over me. This add- ed more worry and did nothing for my physical benefit. I went to many famous places to listen to fortunetellers and get medicine, but my condition worsened. I always felt a terrible thirst, and intense pain would accompany urination. I became so weak I could not work any longer. Always after eating I would lie down to rest. One evening I read a book entitled The Way to Look for Happiness, and I knew that if I prayed to God my burdens would be lifted. Shortly after my diabetes diagnosis, family and friends flooded me with words of encouragement, prayers and gifts of comfort. Among the many stuffed animals and cards that I received was a CD series given to me by a well-meaning family member.The CDs included sermons by a prominent pastor along with a note stating that if I prayed relentlessly, recited scripture, and sought God diligently, healing would be mine. Now, at the age of 15, I identified as a radical believer. I had not yet experiencedthe seasons of doubt and philosophical questions that beset many teens and young adults. Instead, I religiously invited friends to Bible studies and services and dedicated myself to serving in various church ministries. Despite the faith I exuded, I was still taken aback by this religious gift and the notion that if I believed God hard enough, I would be healed of my diabetes. My dismay did not come from a lack of belief, but instead from my family members subtle suggestion that the only answer to my diabetes diagnosis was divine intervention. Hi Everyone, I'm new to this board. I was just wondering what your views are on God and His healing power. I have a 5 year old who was diagnosed in December, but the Word of God says "by my stripes you ARE healed". I KNOW the doctors say that Type 1 is forever, but there's 2 reports, the Doctor's and God's. God doesn't lie. Our son was healed 2000 years ago when Jesus took our sicknesses and infirmities to the cross...his healing will be manifested because it is God's promise that IF we abide in Him and He in us that we can ask whatever we will and it WILL be done. All we have to do is have the faith to see it. He healed when He walked the earth(yesterday) and when we enter Heaven we're healed(forever)...and He's the same yesterday, TODAY, and forever. God is ready to do it, our faith is what puts it into action. It WILL happen, all we have to do is believe...and RECEIVE! God Bless! D.D. God, Food And Healing
Author's Perspective: God, as the True Healer, has provided us with four key mechanisms to heal our bodies through His Name. During my diabetes lectures to various churches, I usually ask the congregation what are the 4 key mechanisms that God uses to help us heal our bodies from disease. Most of the congregation are able to guess one of the mechanisms (prayer), but they are unable to figure out what the other three are. I can't tell you the number of times I've heard people tell me that God will answer their prayers -- when, in fact, God had already answered their prayers, but they weren't listening to His message! As a result, a lot of people sit around praying, waiting for God to answer them -- when God has already given them the answer! So, instead of always praying to God, sometimes we should use meditation to listen to God and use our inner spirit. There are many simple ways to tap into the power of healing of your Body and Mind by reading the Bible and tapping into your inner spirit. When we get sick and end up in the hospital, we praise God for saving our lives, but, we continue to ignore His message! We refuse to change our eating habits and lifestyle and follow the Scriptures. Instead we rely on man's drugs and medications instead of God's super foods! We also fail to use our brains to acquire the power of knowledge about nutrition, disease, and drugs. Instead of thinking and empowering ourselves, we give up our power to Man and his drugs. p.s. So, if you haven't figured it out yet, the other 3 mechanisms are meditation, God's foods and our brains. In December 1990, a miracle happened. It was a very unusual experience and awonderful gift from Our Living God. I have worked as a manager in several freight forwarding companies in Malaysia.Life was very glamorous, exciting and enjoyable especially mixing with people inhigh society and travelling abroad frequently for business cum pleasure. I wasso fully occupied with worldly pleasures that I could never foresee a sudden tumblein my career. When this happened about 15 years ago, it led to many unforgettablesufferings, both financially and emotionally. During this period, I became a victim of diabetes, a disease with a high level ofsugar in the blood. This disease is well-known as a slow killer and a very highdosage of medicine is required to keep you alive. I suffered a great deal and mybody began to shrink due to low intake of sugar. A week before the celebration of Deepavali (a Hindu festival) in November1990, a small boil grew on my left ankle which soon became a big sore. Any diabetic person will know that a wound on his body will not heal or takes a long time to heal. I did not go to the hospital for treatment for fear that I would be detained for a longperiod which I could not afford as the sole bread winner in my family. ChristiaNet.com, a large Christian portal with eight million monthly page loads, recently asked, "Can God heal diabetes?" President of ChristiaNet, Bill Cooper said, "A vast majority of Christians surveyed felt that God can heal diabetes." With nearly 900 Christians responding to the survey, 96% felt that God could heal diabetes . The major theme from most participants seemed to be that all things are possible with God. "With God nothing is impossible," said one Believer. "It may not be part of His plan to heal a particular person of diabetes, but I've seen miracles so I know He can do it!" One family shared their miracle healing: "My son at age 4 was diagnosed with three terminal cancers. We prayed, begging God to heal our son. Two days later our son was healed. God can heal anything!"
