All the entry fees of the walk will be donated to the Al Jalila Foundation to support diabetes research and healthcare in the UAE. You can order your Walk Kit once you register online for the walk. Should a walker not receive their walk registration number and order number, please email [email protected] Once the kit is ordered it cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded. Delivery will be made only within the limits of Dubai, not including Hatta, Liwa. The registration form has a detailed size guide to help you pick the right t-shirt. Becoming more active and making changes in what you eat and drink can seem challenging at first. You may find it easier to start with small changes and get help from your family, friends, and health care team. The cause: Called the Memory Walk when it began in 1989, the annual Alzheimer’s Association event is the world's largest to raise awareness and funds for dementia-related research, assistance and care, which includes in-person support groups as well as a free nationwide helpline. Location/Dates: More than 600 communities nationwide participate in September, October or November, including New York, Oct. 28; Phoenix, Nov. 11. Distance: Walk of 2-3 miles is an all-ages, all-abilities event. How to sign up: Click the Find Your Walk button on the home page to customize your search by location, then click the event page to register. The cause: This signature American Diabetes Association fundraising walk raises critical funds and shows support for people living with the disease. Christopher, who is now 17, was diagnosed with diabetes months after turning 2 years old. Upon diagnosis, his family, and his familys running club, were determined to make a difference. To date this event has raisedmore than $165,000 going towards finding a cure!!
