Puzzler lover set to marry his girlfriend after proposing in a CROSSWORD A PUZZLE lover is set to marry his girlfriend after he proposed to her in a cryptic crossword. Mr Fraser and Ms Herman regularly play crosswords together - so he decided to propose in one Edward Fraser, 30, spent three months carefully crafting coded clues which popped the question to Rachael Herman. Mr Fraser and Ms Herman regularly play crosswords together - so he decided to propose in one. He created a special cryptic crossword in his local Eastern Daily Press which included lots of facts about her. But one clue was 'The Black Prince begins untangling odes and seeks her final response to 27 Across' - which has the answer 'Edward does ask R'. I was looking for something different and wanted to make it special because she is a special person The clue to 27 across was 'It's a question of love' - which answered 'will you marry me'. Lucky she said yes - and the couple hope it means they will never have a cross word. Mr Fraser, of Norwich said: "I agonised over it for quite a while. I was looking for something different and wanted to make it special because she is a special person." "It was quite hard initially as I was trying to think of really cool clues. The 28-year-old teacher said: "I had no idea it was coming it was such Continue reading >>

I thought this was a great idea. I have printed it out and am working on it now. That would be fun, I've sent my request for the puzzle's and I will copy the one you have Thanks for passing this along Gabby. I'm a dedicated cruciverbalist and do the 3 puzzles in the Tampa Bay Times every morningwhat fun! I, too, was stumped by 1 down and also by 7 across because I had the wrong answer for 6 down (I wrote in Metformins). There aren't enough intersections of clues to help you eliminate wrong answers. But, it's not easy trying to build a crossword puzzleI've tried! The solution is already on the Diabetes Health website. Ok, I was not the only one lost on that...Yeah, I know the answers are there. I am trying to hold out and make it work. I've had a bad experience with these puzzles. They kinda patronize me unfortunately. But thanx anyway Gabby. I am going to have to work on that one. Every thing I come up with so far has 21 letters instead of 20 and they don't fit with 5 across. If you figure it out give us a hint. i have a crossword on my nook color.i rarely go into it,on account i haven't much interest in them.and because im normally doing something else with my nook.like makeing out my grocery shopping list.but yet they are fun and enjoyable to work I love jigsaw and crossword puzzles. I hate small ones like this but because you shared it, I will print it out and work on it between customers Sunday. Will give me something to do. Thanks for sharing. Continue reading >>
