Originally released in 2016 to connect to the Contour Next One meter and help users log their diet and exercise, the latest version uses algorithms to identify four different patterns: critical (extreme highs and lows requiring immediate medical attention), recent highs and lows, mealtimes and days of the week. Once the patient is made aware of a negative trend, the app offers possible causes for the dip or spike, such as food, medicine or exercise, followed by recommendations on how to address the pattern.
