We eat one meal a day generally like this or sometimes 2 and sometimes even fast for a day or two with broths. We explain all of this in our gut health book and going Paleo cookbooks and will feature in our upcoming book on fasting and ketogenic approaches. 5-ingredient Sausage And Escarole Pasta

5-ingredient Sausage And Escarole Pasta

This super-flavorful 5-Ingredient Sausage and Escarole Pasta was made possible by two very robust flavors: chicken sausage and garlic. 1 pkg. (9 oz.) fully cooked chicken sausage links, cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices 1/2 cup KRAFT Sun Dried Tomato Vinaigrette Dressing Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup cooking water. Cook sausage in large nonstick skillet on medium heat 5 to 7 min. or until evenly browned and heated through, stirring frequently and adding garlic for the last minute. Add pasta, reserved cooking water, escarole and dressing; mix well. Cook 1 to 2 min. or pasta mixture is heated through and escarole just begins to wilt, stirring frequently. You will need about 1/2 bunch escarole to get the 4 cups chopped escarole needed to prepare this recipe. Follow the package directions to ensure that enough water is used for cooking the pasta. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook until al dente (tender but still a little firm to the bite), stirring frequently. To prevent pasta from sticking, add it slowly to plenty of boiling water and stir frequently while cooking. Adding oil to the cooking water is not recommended because some sauces may not cling to pasta coated with oil. Enjoy this simple low-calorie main dish as part of your healthful eating plan. As a bonus, the chicken sausage and escarole team up to provide big flavor without a lot of fuss. * Nutrition information is estimated based on the ingredients and cooking instructions as described in each recipe and is intended to be used for informational purposes only. Italian Baked Chicken Ingredients:

From Frozen to table in 20 minutes! This easy Italian Baked Chicken is made from 5 ingredients and frozen chicken! No need to thaw! What is for dinner tonight? A commonquestion asked every day in almost every household! And some days Im just not in the mood for making a big meal. Sometimes I just want an easy recipe that takes very little time! But I dont want to sacrifice nutrition or flavor! So I turn to our easy 5 ingredients Italian baked chicken recipe! It is perfect for those nights when you have very little time to make dinner; or when you forget to take the meat out of the freezer. Plus it is a big hit with the husband and the children; allowing for great flavor! But it is still made from natural and healthy ingredients to keep everybody healthy! It is also diabetic friendly, weight loss friendly, and kid friendly. And best of all our Italian baked chicken only requires five simple ingredients. These are simple items that are common staples in our kitchen. I dont have to go on a special shopping trip for this dish. The trick is the type of Chicken you use. I used to use Chicken Tenderloins because they were thinner and already portioned for me. But the brands changed how they packaged them and they started to have too many tough spots or tendons in the chicken that made chewing unpleasant. Now I get all my chicken from Zaycon Foods . I buy in bulk the chicken breasts. Then I portion some out and freeze as regular Chicken Breasts. And then others I slice into thinner chicken sections so they mimic Chicken Tenderloins. I Freeze the Chicken in meal portions so I can quickly grab a bag and go. The Zaycon Chicken has a much better texture, no chewy tendons and is much fresher. They come straight from the Farm and are never frozen. So Im the first one to freeze the c Continue reading >>
