Urine smells sweet, but my blood glucose levels are well under alarming levels!

I'm a 26 year old guy, who works in tech! I recently have been having symptoms of carpal tunnel and I've been adjusting my workspace with ergonomic mouse and keyboard to combat that! I read that carpal tunnel or RA in the wrists can be because of diabetes! And off late, I've been observing that my urine smells sweet and fruity. So, I jumped in and got a blood glucose meter and tested my levels several times mostly after lunch/dinner and found the levels to be under 100. What might be the reason for sweet smelling urine because my blood glucose levels seem to be normal!
I might be slightly over weight considering I'm 5'9" and 185 pounds.
    Any help is highly appreciated

Ketones in the urine would not be good unless you are deliberately on a ketogenic diet (very, very low carbs). You should probably get in to see your doctor ASAP. In the meanwhile, you can purchase a ketone meter and strips similar to a glucose meter and strips so you can test yourself. If your reading is high, get medical treatment immediately.
