    Here's the workout : http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/jim-stoppani-six-week-shortcut-to-shred.html
I'm a 19 year old guy who's been doing SKD for about 4 months know with decent success. I'm about 234lbs with around 27 percent BF.
I used to do SL 5x5 but stopped after I messed up my back. I got a really strong base with SL so now I want to essentially shred all of my excess fat off.
I've heard good stuff about this program but it looks way harder than anything I've ever done.
I was on SKD while doing SL and felt fine for the majority of it but I've seen people struggle using SKD in a program like this.
I've never done TKD before and for those who've done it: are the pre workout carbs essential to workouts or is just a subtle boost? I already supplement with creatine FWIW.
I'm not planning on attempting CKD. I feel all hell would break lose if I tried it.
Does anyone know about this program? It has a diet plan to go with it but the amount of carbs in it are way higher than keto would allow.
Also another question. Is 1g per pound of lean body mass enough to throw you out of ketosis? Also in my case it would be around 175g of protein and that seems hard... Would drinking 3-4 protein shakes a day be dangerous?
A lot of questions r/ketogains, I'd appreciate if you help me out!

"Ketosis" is a word you'll probably see when you're looking for information on diabetes or weight loss. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? That depends. Ketosis is a normal metabolic process, something your body does to keep working. When it doesn't have enough carbohydrates from food for your cells to burn for energy, it burns fat instead. • Nutritional Ketosis And Starvation Ketosis

Another one of the fallacies that seems to pervade is that a ketogenic diet is the same as being in starvation – whereby the body significantly reduces it’s metabolism and starts tapping into the muscles for energy. This is completely bogus and you’d be best off just ignoring the idea altogether. In light of restricted carbohydrates through either keto or starvation the body will focus on maintaining glucose homeostasis, ie constant blood-g ...

  • How Ketosis Feels

Ketosis is a normal metabolic process. When the body does not have enough glucose for energy, it burns stored fats instead; this results in a build-up of acids called ketones within the body. Some people encourage ketosis by following a diet called the ketogenic or low-carb diet. The aim of the diet is to try and burn unwanted fat by forcing the body to rely on fat for energy, rather than carbohydrates. Ketosis is also commonly observed in patien ...
