Would eating lots of chocolates affect my diabetes test results?

To say I am a bit of a sugar addict is an understatement. I eat a few chocolates pretty much every day. I also eat a lot of fruits.

Does anyone know if this will affect my gestational diabetes test? Should I stop eating my chocolates for a week before I get the test? I was planning on going tomorrow, but I'm starting to wonder if that will skew my results..

I also eat chocolate on a daily basis and wasn't told it would affect the test. My Midwife said that if your body processes sugar properly eating chocolate is not a problem. I think u are supposed to fast before the test, for the reason that they don't want any foods interfering with the results (including chocolate) I would think the normal fasting time is enough.
